I've lived all around the world, growing up on military bases. I developed a love for food and cooking from childhood, watching my grandmother prepare meals for us.
Im a culinary school graduate with 13 years experience in the kitchen. I switched to the front of the house in 2008, a move I have loved ever since.
My passion for writing was sparked early in my career writing for the newsletter at the club where I worked. Over the past few years I have been working to expand my writing, working for Grilled Magazine and several websites. I have written on cooking, grilling, war history, stocks, trading and the financial markets.
